FUN Lies Again

The Ambassador's Unauthorized Sequel That No One Asked For

"Imagine a world where the Earth is in its death throes, and scientists build a library ark to rescue the great works of literature from the impending destruction. Their resources are limited, and they have space for only 100 books from Earth's entire history.

Ninety-seven of those spots should be reserved for FUN Lies Again. LET SHAKESPEARE BURN.” —Abraham Lincoln

FUN Lies

The Ambassador's Leaky Bucket of Stories That are Completely Half True

This book is a big old bucket of satire, shenanigans, and tomfoolery. The author embellishes personal narratives, makes ridiculous lists of nonsense, and presents fictional news in the style of The Onion or The Daily Show.

Some of you, like my wife, will never laugh at the stupidity in this book. Look for Easter eggs, and don’t take anything at face value, including the footnotes—for they may be fun lies, too.

Forever Sisters

Illustrated by Emily Threadgill

Family is who you choose to love.

Inspired by the author's adoption story, Forever Sisters is a picture book for foster, adoptive, and blended families. It follows the characters of Peggy and Lucy, two sisters born to different parents. The book contrasts the differences and similarities between the two girls through easy-to-understand language and warm illustrations.

They look different, and are still family.

We want every child to know they have value and worth regardless of background or appearance.

Reviews of Forever Sisters

This is beautiful story of God's love and grace through adoption. Mark Suroviec does a great job of telling how his daughters are different and special in their own ways while still part of the same loving family. This book is highly recommended for small children, especially as a way to teach them about adoption.

We adopted our daughter and she absolutely loves reading this several times a week. We talk about what a special place she has in our family and it is so refreshing and sweet to find a book geared specifically for adoption. We also fostered, then were able to adopt her. I love that this author touches on that in the end pages. Highly recommend!
